This administrator role allows them to manage users, end-user devices and shared devices.
Device Administrator
This administrator role allows them to manage end-user devices and shared devices.
Full Administrator
This administrator role allows them to assign roles to other users. They can also manage end-user devices, shared devices, bots, spaces, licenses, upgrades, company policy and templates, analytics and reports, and support metrics and notifications.
Read-Only Administrator
This administrator role allows them to see a read-only view of the portal. They won't be able to make changes.
Compliance Administrator
This administrator role allows compliance officers to perform searches and extract content to meet regulatory requirements and support legal cases.
Support Administrator
This administrator role allows them access to platform availability and troubleshooting tools.

Webex Administrator FAQ

A Webex Administrator role defines the level of access and permissions a user has within the Webex Control Hub. Different roles allow administrators to manage various aspects of the platform, from user management to compliance features.

Administrator roles can be assigned through the Webex Control Hub by a Full Administrator. Navigate to Users, select the user, and under Administrator Roles, choose the appropriate role level for that user.

Yes, users can be assigned multiple administrator roles to combine permissions as needed. However, it's recommended to follow the principle of least privilege and only assign the roles necessary for a user's responsibilities.

A Full Administrator has complete access to all settings and can make changes across the platform. A Read-Only Administrator can view all settings and configurations but cannot make any modifications.

The Compliance Administrator role is specifically designed for compliance officers who need to perform eDiscovery searches, extract content for legal holds, and meet regulatory requirements without having access to other administrative functions.
